Hi. I'm going to keep this brief. I might hop on here again this month and provide and update. I am pretty excited about

Sapsucker Farms --this is a great place to go and listen to some music on a friday evening, especially when the weather is nice and we can chill in the shade on the east side of the cider barn. I will be playing there on the 3rd Friday of the month until September.

Moose Lake Brewing -- I will be playing there the 3rd Saturday of every month. Sometimes alone, and sometimes with some friends. So the date for those you can find below.

At the end of the Month I will be playing at NorthFolk Winery. This is the the only time I have booked here this season. Its always a special place, and I think my style of performance fits it nicely.

I have some studio time booked to work on my new album. I am really getting antsy about it.

Thank you for checking out my website. I've posted some dates that I'll be playing this summer of 2024. Other than a few excursions, I am keeping it pretty close to home. I'm excited about these. Old haunts, and new places. 

I can't tell you how much it means to me that people appreciate what it is I do. Doing this folksinger songwriter thing is a tough deal sometimes, because it feels like I am going against the grain. Every time I get a kind compliment, a round of applause, or a tip, it gives me confidence that I am doing the right thing by being true to my art. 

I have some new songs in the mix, a new album somewhere on the horizon, and all kinds of collaborations that are challenging and inspiring me.

Greetings Friends. Thanks for stopping by and checking out my website. I'm just trying things to see what works, and I hope that people like what they find, and (hopefully) are able to find what they are looking for. 

The New Album is progressing at the pace it is progressing. No rush here. I am taking the time to get it right.

I'm excited about the dates this month. It doesn't look like much but, I've been super busy with music lately and I’m really excited about these shows!

I've always loved Irish and Celtic music. It has been on my to do list for a long time to learn some of the songs, tunes, jigs, and reels on the guitar, but it has never happened. Well, I was asked to provide accompaniment on the guitar for a little Irish deal called "The Bless Your Heart Band!" We are playing three shows St. Patricks weekend at the Cascade Lodge in Lutsen! So I've been spending some time trying to get these tunes in my head. 

Reckless Kind: This is a project that some Camp Copperhead alumni and I have put together. Seven guys getting together to record an album in Muscle Shoals. Each of us are contributing a song, and we're all playing the instruments...like a band.  This should be fun. Planning on heading to Alabama in May. More details to come.

Wow, we’re already one month gone into the New Year. 

Summer dates are trickling in, and it’s looking like another full fun season with some well needed breaks here and there. 

I have a lot of exciting things going on. 

You may or may not know that I am working on a new album. If you’ve come out to see me play, you’ve heard a couple of the new songs. All of them are getting good responses, which is great. I have a good team lined up and we’ve got most of the rhythm tracks recorded, so now it’s just going in and adding the textures, and good vocal takes, guitar solos, and instrumentations. No release date as of yet. I’m taking time and just being patient. Maybe I’ll release everything as “single” tracks. Seems to be the modern method of operation.

I’m working on several new projects too. More about that at a later time.

Hi everybody. It's great to be sitting here by the fire writing this on a chilly January day. I hope everyone had a good holiday. I am booking shows for this summer. I won't be working as hard as I did last year, but I am thinking that less is more. Stay tuned.
